The Best Business Ideas For Online Income
>> Thursday, September 6, 2012
As you probably know, KISS stands for "keep it simple, stupid" and I find that the best business ideas are the ones that avoid complicated scenarios and set-up methods. Now that just about everyone is on the internet, I urge you to consider starting a business online. The advantages are enormous. You could open the biggest and best shopping mall mankind has ever seen and you could site it in the middle of New York City (or even London, perhaps Tokyo) and you still wouldn't be able to attract anything but a a small percentage of the number you'd be able to via the internet. These are people you can buy from as well as sell to.
The "no stock needed" online business. First, pick a category of goods on Amazon that typically sell for $200+ (cameras, TV's, jewelry, and so on) and browse for heavily discounted items (over 50%). Make a list, adding 10-20% of the discounted Amazon price to make your "selling price". Now, go to Ebay and check for exactly the same items there. If you find anything listed at roughly the same as your selling price, make a "buy now" listing using pictures and information from Amazon. When someone buys on Ebay and the payment has been made, buy the item on Amazon, using the "send as a gift" delivery option. Amazon will send your goods for you with no invoice. Repeat.
Sell your expertise. People like to get information from someone who knows more than they do: it's part of the human psyche. Think what you are (or you could become) an expert in. Have you been trained to do something for your work? If you are a science teacher or a lecturer in law that opens up a wealth of possibilities. Or maybe you are well versed in some kind of hobby? Make a Google or Bing search to see what others are selling online and think what you can do along the same lines.
Making information products to sell over the internet can be a very lucrative way to make a living. You want to be able to create something quickly and without waffle that solves a problem that affects lots of people (more sufferers = more prospective customers). Many people go wrong by trying to make it too exhaustive. In this digital age, people need to get their problem solved quickly and easily. For example, if I'm suffering from terrible acne, I'd rather read 4-5 pages telling me exactly how to get rid of it (provided it works!) than 1,000 beautifully illustrated pages talking about pustules, hair follicles, the history of acne, famous sufferers and so on. Pick a problem, do a search, see what other people are doing and do it better!
Lots of people throughout the world want to start a new business or find a new job. Use your experience and knowledge to make products that will help them. If you don't have any such experience spend a day or so online becoming an "expert". You might be a former cop who could write an eBook telling people how to become a cop? Or a bounty hunter, or maybe you could build a site that tells people how to become a dentist in various countries around the world? Have a look on the internet to see what other people are selling and adapt it to your needs.
The law of karma states that whatever you do will come back to you, good or bad. Whether you believe in karma or not, believe this: it's just as easy to be an honest trader as it is to be a scammer. Repeat business is the best type of business because it's free, you don't have to spend money finding a new customer. It's important that you make products that really do what they say they will and that you mostly have happy buyers. If you don't think that is important see what Paypal or Clickbank do if half your customers demand refunds or issue chargeback requests. Believe me, the best business ideas include a product that really does do what you claim it will.
